Do something to the porch
One good idea beats an aisle of plastic.

- One orange bulb
- Whatever you already own
- Restraint
The trick
Change the light before you add anything
A single bare orange or red bulb by the door does more than every inflatable on the street. Start there and you may find you are finished.
Try this
- Something tall and still beside the door, rather than many small things on the ground.
- Leave the path clear — people have to walk up it in the dark.
